You don't have to be a talker to have something worth hearing.
I'm tired of feeling disqualified because I prefer listening over performing.
Every piece of advice I get about building a brand says to get on camera, talk about myself, share my opinions loudly. And I've tried. It never feels like me.
Here's what I actually do: I listen. Really listen. The kind where you're not thinking about what to say next, just...receiving. And somewhere in that space, the gold shows up.
There's a reason we have two ears and one mouth. The ratio might be a hint.
The creative entrepreneurs I work with aren't short on ideas. They're short on someone who'll slow down long enough to hear what's already there. The vision they keep circling back to. The thing they almost didn't say. That's where the real brand lives.
I think the world is overproducing content and underinvesting in listening. Not just as a communication skill. As a creative practice. As the thing that helps you figure out who you're becoming, instead of just what you're selling.
I don't have a viral reel strategy. I have questions and patience and a real belief that most people already have the answer.
If that sounds like what you've been missing, I'd love to hear you. Leave a comment below.
P.S. The people who tell me they're "not good at self-promotion" are usually the ones with the most to say.
